Tinnitus Week 2026: Lessons from the Last 12 Months, 2 February 2026, 6:00 PM (UK time)

Tinnitus Week 2026: Lessons from the Last 12 Months brings together an international group of clinicians and researchers, including audiologists, ENT specialists, psychologists, and senior researchers from different countries, all actively involved in tinnitus care and research, for a reflective and forward-looking webinar during National Tinnitus Awareness Week 2026.

The webinar begins with Hashir Aazh presenting a synthesis of global tinnitus research from the past 12 months. Drawing on the forthcoming Annual Tinnitus Report, this presentation provides an overview of where tinnitus research activity has been concentrated geographically, the key themes and questions studied, and the journals in which this work has been published. The session highlights what has been learned from the evidence, identifies emerging patterns and gaps, and explores the implications for clinical practice, research priorities, and service development.

The Annual Tinnitus Report will be published and freely available from 1 February 2026.

Following this, the discussion broadens to clinical perspectives on tinnitus management, including reflections on established and evolving therapeutic approaches.

The webinar then concludes with an international panel discussion, bringing together diverse clinical, scientific, and cultural perspectives. The panel discussion will focus on clinical experiences across different countries, with members sharing insights from tinnitus care in their own settings and reflecting on key findings from the Annual Tinnitus Report. Panel members include Rekha Khosla (UK), Lisiane Holdefer (Brazil), Mini Gupta (Australia), Maiya Al Amri (Oman), Ana Jotic (Serbia), Siri Merete Bergseth (Norway), Pawel Jastreboff (USA), Richard Salvi (USA), Brian C. J. Moore (UK), Alan Hopkirk (Scotland), and Tarryn Richardson (South Africa).

This webinar is designed for patients, clinicians, researchers, and service leaders seeking a clear, balanced, and globally informed overview of the current tinnitus research landscape.
