Take part in our 2024 art competition which is aimed to help with raising awareness about misophonia, tinnitus and hyperacusis and Win a Prize! The Sound Off art competition is planned in conjunction with the 7th International Conference on Hyperacusis and Misophonia in Warsaw, September 2024.

Hashir International Institute has several public projects comprising: (1) Health-related talks or exhibitions for public, (2) Become a solver, (3) Competitions and prizes, and (4) Action research. The general aim of our public projects is to provide opportunity for anyone regardless of their educational background or geographical location who thinks that they may have an idea that can help solving some of the problems related to understanding, assessing, or managing misophonia, tinnitus, and hyperacusis to assist scientists in creating feasible solutions. The Sound Off art competition in 2024 is organised by Hashir International Institute in collaboration with the World Hearing Center and the Institute of Physiology and Pathology of Hearing and Institute of Sensory Organs and is sponsored by MED-EL. The aim is to raise awareness about misophonia, tinnitus and hyperacusis. Enter this global competition by creating a piece of artwork that demonstrates the experience of living with misophonia, hyperacusis or tinnitus. Or with a piece of artwork, share your solutions on how to help individuals who may be sensitive to sounds or have tinnitus so they can enjoy their workplace, school, and other family and social activities too!

Winners from each age category will have their work exhibited at the 7th International Conference on Hyperacusis and Misophonia in Warsaw, September 2024!
